Rachael & Jonathan's Wedding - Holy Trinity, Cuckfield & Newick Park near Uckfield in East Sussex

It seems like ages ago that Rachael married Jonathan at the stunning Holy Trinity in Cuckfield followed by a reception at nearby Newick Park. When I first met them back in June I was very excited as I love Newick Park and I could see that their day was going to be very special for all of their family and friends.

I have to say that from start to finish I was very impressed with the sheer exhuberance of the day. Jay (the toastmaster) struggled to be heard above all of the excitement!

To see their mini slideshow simply click on the image below. To see all of their pictures, once in the slideshow view, click on the shopping basket and when prompted the password is Rachael & Jonathan's surname (case sensitive).

I started off at Newick where Rachael got ready with an assortment of girls including Jonathan's daughter Maddie who looked beautiful. Rachael looked quite simply breathtaking as she climbed into the car with her Father for the short journey to Holy Trinity. Meanwhile Jonathan, his ushers and a very impressive-looking Tom (Rachael's son) were welcoming guests and trying to keep out of the wind (no rain though - hurrah!) Rachael just about made it inside with her veil still attached and walked down the aisle to greet Jonathan with a great big smile.

The service was very personal as Rachael has known the church since she was a little girl. There was lots of laughter during the signing of the Register before the two of them walked back down the aisle to popping flashes and wide grins from everyone. [Big up to Nick Wetherall who is a very accommodating vicar - his church is really a joy to work in. And a big well done to Annette & Ann who introduced me to Rachael & Jonathan & produced gorgeous flowers everywhere you looked]

Off to Newick and a few shots of the two of them before the family groups in the library. Maddie sung beautifully and everyone was enthralled. Guests were then greeted into the meal with a receiving line. The meal looked delicious & the sound of happy chatting filled the room. The speeches were very funny and although I already knew that Rachael was a very animated person, this really came to the fore during her Father, Jonathan and Simon's speeches. Brilliant!

Evening guests arrived just before the cake cutting and then the two of them danced in front of a rapt audience. Finally everyone joined them on the dance floor and were treated to some funky tunes. I left the party in full swing and made it home by 10pm... shattered but thrilled with a really fun and happy day. Thanks guys - it was a blast! xxx
