Sarah & Mike's Wedding at Mayfield Church & Pashley Manor Gardens, Ticehurst

I'd been looking forward to Sarah & Mike's wedding at the beautiful St Dunstan Church in Mayfield followed by a fabulous reception at Pashley Manor Gardens in Ticehurst (both in East Sussex). I absolutely love gardens, plants & flowers and Pashley really is stunning in every way so it was a real treat.

To see their mini slideshow simply click on the image below. To see all of their pictures, once in the slideshow view, click on the shopping basket and when prompted the password is Mike & Sarah's surname (case sensitive).

Sarah and the girls got ready at the lovely Church House B&B in Burwash - I've decided that Burwash is where I'd like to live now (a great convenience store too). Mel Kinsman & Eric Perin were a terrific double act for make-up and hair - they did a great job. Sarah looked amazing.

Meanwhile at the Carpenters Arms my assistant Lucy had the fun job of photographing the guys who looked very dapper in their top hats. I arrived just as everyone was going into the church which was beautifully decorated with the most enormous diplay of flowers, pretty much everywhere you turned... fabulous. Sarah & her Father walked down the aisle to many admiring glances and the whole service was lovely. A surprise for Mike was the the cricket bat guard of honour that greeted their exit - brilliant.

Onwards to Pashley Manor Gardens and a champagne reception, some groups shots and then a few of just Sarah & Mike before the guests were welcomed into the fabulous marquee by the sound of an alpine horn. It was hysterical seeing the guests all have a go... lots of laughter. Cake cutting and then speeches with Adam's brilliant 'many faces of Mike' stories. Dinner was followed by a great dance routine and then some pretty crazy dancing from everyone. I left just as things were really hotting up.

Many thanks for looking after Lucy & me and the delicious meal (+ lemoade) from a superb caterer in the form of Emma Ainslie. Special thanks to Emma for being so accommodating and to James for being so helpful.

See you on Saturday!
