Julie & Andy's Wedding at Alexander House in East Grinstead, West Sussex

Julie & Andy had a fabulous ceremony at St Edward the Confessor in Worth followed by a stunning reception at Alexander House near East Grinstead.

Julie got ready at her Parent's home before heading off to the church for a really wonderful service conducted by Father Simon who was terrific. Lots of lovely readings and prayers and a recession with confetti being thrown by everyone in the aisles which made for a great shot (and well done to the guys for sweeping up afterwards). And then off to Alexander House in a fabulous Bentley.

Now although it drizzled for much of the day you wouldn't have guessed it for the laughter which filled the Hotel. Guests were entertained by an amazing caricaturist while the buck fizz, beer & canapes kept the staff busy. The groups were slightly challenging as we did them inside but everyone helped make them go pretty smoothly. And then some shots of just Julie & Andy in and around the Hotel which looked really great wherever we went. They are both very natural in front of the camera which made my job so easy.

One thing that I loved about Julie's dress is that it made a great "swish swish" sound when she twirled so do look out for the lovely shot of her outside the Spa as she turned. It's beautiful.

And then into the beautifully dressed dining room (plus very sweet sweeties as favours - very colourful) for their meal which looked delicious. [Thanks for my wonderful steak sandwich and copious amounts of lemonade - it's my favourite combination] But first the speeches with Gerry, Andy and Luke doing cracking jobs of keeping everyone entertained. I did my usual table headshots and everyone was in great spirits which made it really fun. And then after the meal there was a casino with Black Jack and a roulette table - utterly brilliant.

But before everyone went crazy on the tables Julie & Andy cut their amazing Choccywoccydoodah cake which looked great. And then their 1st dance to much applause and flashing of cameras before everyone joined them and really let their hair down. Evening guests arrived and were treated to a BBQ and a very well stocked bar!

I left just as it was all going in full swing and drove the 5 minutes home - what a treat! Thanks so much for everything you guys plus your families - I had a ball. Please keep in touch and drop in any time you are passing. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. E x

Update: I've just seen Andy & Julie looking very healthy and happy after their honeymoon in Jamaica... great to see you and really looking forward to delivering your album in a few weeks. x
