Pre-Wedding Shoot #8 - Elaine & Steve

Three weeks ago I traveled to Staines to meet up with Elaine and Steve who are getting married next month. Now the only association that I'd had with Staines was Ali G... I was therefore extremely surprised by the lack of yellow tracksuits on show! [I've since learned that Hard-Fi are from Staines so move over Ali G] Seriously though Staines is a beautiful place with lovely bridges, pubs on the waterfront, a park and some pretty trendy shops.

I met Elaine and Steve briefly at Emma & Mark's wedding back in July and obviously they got to see me in action. I love working with people who already know what I'm like - I was so pleased when they asked me to photograph their wedding. [Click on the photograph to see their slideshow]


We took a very leisurely stroll along the river followed by lunch at The Swan Hotel (thank you very helpful staff). Perhaps asking them to run over the bridge immediately afterwards wasn't that wise but they really were great sports all day. Steve was quite right - he knew that I'd like the park with it's fabulous trees and views & it was funny seeing the spot where they took the best ever wedding invitation photograph... brilliant!

Thank you both for being great fun - I am really looking forward to the 23rd and meeting your families and friends. It's so exciting!
