Shoes # 1

I love footwear (there's a surprise) and one of my favourite things to photograph at a wedding are the bride's shoes. These were wonderfully sparkly and here I was assisted by the Bride who was taking a minute out of her preparations... That's a good warning actually - stand still when I'm working and you're bound to be asked to hold something or block out the light (as happened at the weekend)... It did look mighty odd blocking out the light hitting the rings - rather like we were starting a new ring cult!

These also had a sweet little detail in the rear of the heel - it's amazing how everyone gets everything together for weddings. It's wonderful to be able to record these things in photographs.
