The Mum wanted a classic image of her husband with their 6 week old daughter so we discussed the options & decided on something a bit different. The dark background combined with the dark shirt accentuates the baby's gorgeous soft, pale skin and once I'd sat the Dad down (he's well over 6 foot) to bring them closer it was a case of waiting for that fleeting moment when the two of them had eye contact. I took four frames in total and this one was the first and best.
I just love the beauty of this bond between father and daughter... So powerful it took my breath away.
