It was a different start to my day with a short trip to Gravetye Manor to cover a champagne breakfast hosted by David W in Clive's honour. What a spectacular way to start one's wedding day.
Karen meanwhile, and not to be outdone, had her friends round for champagne and smoked salmon - all very civilised. Armand made a wonderfully dramatic entry and we were wowed by his make-up skills - he was terrific fun and Karen looked simply amazing. A short trip down to the church with Paul and Ellie for an emotional service ending with a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria in honour of Karen's Mother.

Clive & Karen burst out of the church with huge smiles and, having run the gauntlet with confetti, it was a simple walk over the road and into their reception. Having greeted everyone and done the group shots they were finally able to let their hair down and celebrate with a fabulous buffet. The speeches were slightly challenging in that there was a 1 minute downpour just as Bob started... rain certainly stopped play, but a restart swiftly followed. Having cut their cake the two of them set off for a quiet evening back at Gravetye - with a mini-stop back at home and to the Cat for a last pint... be rude not to!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs B - lots of laughing from everyone all day, just as you'd planned. Best of luck with your future together & a hug to Titan from me.
